My Xtreme's mileage report

I am here to give you my 2nd review with the mileage report of my HH CB x treme...As I haven’t touched the speedo limits still with my new hulk ( waiting till my 1 st service is done),

I have ridden enough with pillion over 400 kms.. (right now I am yet 600 kms ).I’m getting a mileage of around 50- 53 km/lt in the city traffic (haven’t gone past 60 km/hr speed ) till now.

Most of the times I go to office in the peak hours ... So there is a very little chance of me crossing these limits. If its on a highway its around 55- 58 km/lt ( this too not above

60km/hr speed...maintained a constant speed of 50 km/hr most of the

time ..... Could not resist touching 60km/hr on the Highway .)

I hope to get around 50-55 km/lt after first servicing in the city traffic ..... As the bhp is more for Xtreme , we need not rev up the engine a lot in

the same gear ...it will automatically carry the load easily in the

lower gears...... Its a real achievement to the Honda Engineers to fine

tune their engines and yet maintaining by not consuming more fuel to produce this kind of result. Anyway they have

the best R&D and do check rigourously to attain what they want.

One more thing I’ve found very interesting is the stability of the bike

at the lower gears...ie. while running at 1st gear or 2 nd gear ..the bike

doesn’t lose its balance ( even with a pillion) ...and I really haven’t

kept my legs down on the ground to balance the bike........I feel, Its

because of the weight of the bike perfectly balanced added with the

wheel base for the tyres resulting for a perfect placement of the

centre of gravity.

Thats it guys, for now....Be back with some more reviews later...

With regards

Red Hulk
