I’ve had two bikes , both of them CD 100 deluxe models.
The first one had become 10 years old and I gave it away for 18000/-.
I bought a new one for 35000/-.
1.] The price of 40000/- is a bit steep.
It should be priced at 32000/- to 34000/- which would be fair.
2.] I am a rough driver. I never get the bike serviced except for changing the oil regularly which I believe to be the best antidote for getting longer life.
3.] Minor costs after 4-5 months for a couple of 100 Rs are all that is required.
4.] Apart form the suspensions of the front wheel, there was no other problem I faced with the bike.
5.] The bike is amazing, compared to the other ones around.
Recently I changed the shock absorbers and tyres after 6 years just because my kid and wife complained about the shocks they were getting.
6.] The average I get is about 60 km to which I say enough.
I do not want the 70 km or 90 km advertised by a company.
I just want an assured 60 km which is enough for me.
7.] I am planning to use this bike for another 10 years a least.
Currently I have driven it for 80000 kms without an overhaul of the engine.
I am waiting for my bike to scream at me.
On the overall this bike is a great bike for people who need something to depend on and who just want to use it for riding about 60-70 km in a day.
For people who need style and speed this bike is a NO.NO.
