Recently I bought all new cd dawn (not deluxe).I went with this bike after going through various reviews on MOUTHSHUT.Prior to this I was planning for ZEUS and that is also a value for money product with a good performnce, but suzuki’s showroom is about 50km from my home so it would be very difficult for me to go 50km each n every time for service etc.Then I had a look on my needs.My priorities were as follows..
1.Bike should give the mileage atleast 60kmpl.
2.Price must around 40k.(on road)
3.Availability of spares easily.
4.Resale value.
After going through various products in same segment I zeroed down to this bike, because first of all the product is from India’s most reliable brand i.e.HERO HONDA, no need to worry about after sales service, resale, mileage, performance...etc.And above all I have paid 34635/-, , on road price..which is quite affordable if you are looking for a good n reliable bike.
Couple of months back HH had made few changes in it..such as..headlight and all new tail light, a bit powerful engine, new tank with new graphics etc.The bike looks now really cool as compared to its predecessor.And moreover the best part is they had not increased the price.
As of now I have used it around 500km and the mileage I have got till now is above 65kmpl, which is quite satisfactory.The engine is quite smooth (no need to say), gearshift is quite easy and comfortable, handling is just perfect, easy to operate switches.
I would like to share some cons also such as...seat is not that much comfortable but still it is ok..steering lock is still in the side.Apart from that bike is perfect I would say.Headlight beam is much improved, and new taillamp gives a cool look to bike.
I will recommend this bike if you are looking for a good low budget bike with a reasonable power.I agree that looks are not that much good but for the price you are paying it is definitely worth it.And now the bike is coming with same 7.7ps splendor’s engine which is quite reliable and that too 8k cheaper....At the end I would like to congrats HERO HONDA for making such a good bike at an affordable price tag.
