Hero Honda Glamour

Hi all,

I am thinking to buy a bike in 125cc segment so went to HH show room for query. So I took Glamour 2 test drive and my frnds were also with me So total 6 test drives. Here is my and their exp.

Glamour is 125cc bike which looks most sporty than any bike in this segment. 125cc means little power, little pickup ( with compare to 100cc), but believe me there is nothing in Glamour.

Bike comfort is very good, can be used for very long drives without any back pain, looking is very good but its not at all feels like 125cc.

HH name is good, and if these folks are thinking just to sell due to look and HH name then I think they should be in trouble for this bike ( same as CBZ)

My frnd went about less 5 km on test drive and 100 ml of fuel ( they have sperate fuel measurement tube attached in bike) all fuel consumed in less than 5km. So what should we think !!!

At HH show rooms there is nothing spcification kind of stuff about Glamour ( they are just giving Super Splender specs). One more interesting thing I found is they claim top speed to be 95 while in SS top speed is 90 ( both have same engine and Glamour weight is off course more than SS ), as per HH web.

I was on forth gear and try to get full speed, still very very poor in that case.

I am confused about my choice in bike. Still I am thinking to go for Discover.

Glamour doesnt have Alloy wheel, price is really high as compared to Discover, Victor GLX and other 125cc bikes.

1. 125cc still doesnt have pick up feels like 100 cc

   
   




2. New bike and market response is very bad. Still I didnt see any Glamour on Road in bangalore, total Bangalore sells is about 1500 bike

   
   




3. Average, Since I was unable to get its weight but this is surely heavier than SS, So Average must be less than SS, And my frnd test drive puts lot of doubts in my mind

So folks any one bought Glamour, please correct me if I m wrong !! ? And Guide me to go to discover or for Glamour
