Hi guys, I bought my glamour bike 1 month back in Nov 2014 By now 1 month finished. You should know that Honda and Hero are separate companies. Previously Honda use to supply engines to hero. Now Hero has tied up with other company called Hero Motocorp which we don’t know how effective the engines are.
But Honda is known for its engines and reliability, though its costly. Coming to bike details, initially it gave only 35 Kmpl mileage and 1st service is done in Dec 2014 . I asked the guys that you told it will give 60 kmpl mileage then servicemen told that as the engine is new, it will consume a bit more sir. Ok I thought and coming to
-> comfort its well designed do back pain and you don’t feel trouble in driving.
-> Gear shifting: Its like some times it gets very hard shifting form 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 1st you know how pathetic the situation will be if it happens in the busy traffic and that too he told sir 2-3 services every thing will set up sir.
-> fuel efficiency: initially 35 Kmpl and after service(checking)
-> pickup: As you can see compared to all other bikes in this 125 cc segment it has low pick up but it is sufficient as you are not racing .(I am a smooth driver)
-> Breaking: Good and sufficient
-> shock absorbers: Not that good its quiet hard and you feel not suspension is there.
-> Colours: You know these colours are very pathetic colours and I don’t feel like taking at all when I saw in internet I saw full brown colour bike when I went to show room they are like we don’t have such plain colours sir . and you know when you like a bike and if you don’t get the colours required you feel really bad.(my opinion)
-> In the slopes when to drive opposite to it(upwards) it really bike will stuggle a lot and one more thing is this bike good for single drive. when you have double and heavy persons handling goes now.
Servicing and maintenance until now is low. This is my review as a new bike owner and I will be getting back to you guys after 2-3 services and let you know the complete details of the bike.
I thought I searched for the reviews on mouth shut it really helps if people write their real own reviews. overall I give 5\10 still didn’t reach until my expectations I you know I bought this bike for 69 K where in its too costly in its segment with drum brakes and Honda shine with dick cost 69 K . cost is really very high.
Hope this will help you guys . Remember guys Hero and Honda are not together . and Hero has tied up with different company called Motocorp . So think before you buy the bike. If you are ready to try a new company then its okay. Otherwise go for a good branded engine company .
