I have bought this bike three years back.At that time I was not having a lot of options in my hand as discover was its only prominent competitor.but later on with massive launch of bikes in these 2-3 years I found that hero Honda is the most backward brand in the market. I don’t understand why hero Honda has replaced ambition. glamour gives me an economy of 55-60 in town as well as in highway. Since in highway if u move ur speed upto 60 then forget about the mileage.the gears as very hard an many a times difficult to change.its engine gives you a power of 9 bhp which is the least in this segment.even 110 cc Honda cb twister provides you 9 bhp.
I have taken the bike at 100 kmh many a times having a pillion and even 2. but at flat roads its speed reaches maximum upto 95 kmh.the good features about the bike is its looks. the handle is provided unnecessarily long which I have replaced by the handle of cbz[old] and have placed handle bars so as to control this 128 kg bike. hero Honda has failed to maintain the power/weight ratio.The sound is quite well at 45-50 kmh but heavily increase above 60 kmh .The quantum core engine is a complete failure as this engine type is only good for 100 cc bikes not for 125. mileage may go upto 65 after fresh engine oil change but will gradually fall after a 1000 kms. Hence I say that hero Honda must replace this bike with something like ambition or achiever so as to compete in the market with stunner and pulsar 135 or this outdated bike will ruin the 125 cc market grab of hero Honda .
It needs complete replacement and not just sticker replacement.hence if u r looking for a 125 cc bike go for stunner n not for this bulky lazy daam..
