A good choice among 150cc bikes

This is my first review. So please excuse me if u feel its not good. I am a regular reader of mouthshut.com. I mostly depend on this site for any kind of buying decision. so today I joined in this lovely community to help people like me. sorry for the long intro. Ok lets go into the review.I had a dilemma between CBZ Xtreme and Hunk. because both had the same engine. Then I finally got a Hunk on 27/12/2008 because of its macho looks. The shoulders are really impressive. One of my friends own a Hunk for more than a year. I rode that and it was solid like a rock without any vibrations or sounds from the fiber parts. This is the best thing about Hunk. then its very easy to handle and control. its really a good bike for city traffic. suspension is far better than CBZ Xtreme. The fact is GRS suspension is the best for commuting purpose than mono type suspension. Mono are designed for race tracks. As I said in the pros looks are really cool. The black one is a killer. Power is much better than other 150cc bikes. Weight makes the bike stable in high speeds.

Definitely its not a demerit. and when u ride it u can feel that. Many say that it lacks a digital speedo. But the traditional one makes it feel macho. true bikers will understand what I say. The feel when u get while seeing the analog speedo goes rising cannot be got from a digi speedo. but I really miss the LED tail lamp. Yes. Hunk is not a good choice for long rides. Its only a bike that one can buy for daily commuting purpose. The seating position is not comfortable for long rides. The pillion seat must be some what wider. It will make the pillion feel good. But its too narrow for rides more than 25 kms. When we buy a bike we give much importance to the pros and cons. So here is the list of them.

Pros:

  1. Big Bike feel

  2. Stable in high speeds

  3. Good looks

  4. Good quality materials used

  5. Best pick up in its class

Cons:

  1. Not suitable for long rides

  2. Narrow pillion seat

  3. Not suitable for family commuting [2 adults+ 1 child]

  4. Fuel economy falls between 35 - 45 kmpl

  5. Paint finish is not that much good

  6. Irritating sound comes from the seat in bad roads. Finally its worth for the sum of Rs.64000. I’ll give my second review with more valuable points when I cross 1000kms.The other thing is some pulsaranians say that Hunk is not a name that can be given for bike, only h0m0 guys ride on Hunk, etc. But the fact is pulsar was marketed as "DEFINITELY MALE".

So pulsaranians donot comment on the name Hunk. Thank u.
