I am new to mouth shut.In fact today only I registered and the only reason was to write this review.As it is my 1st time there may be some mistakes which I hope u’ll excuse..
1st of all this is not a review just an experience..I am staying in B’lore and I m planning to buy a bike since long.But didn’t like any of the current genre of bikes.I used to have a yamaha rx-100 in my college days.And in my native my cousine had a cbz(old model) which I used to ride.This bike is my personal favourite.I always planned to buy a CBZ , but alas!! Hero honda stopped its production.When Hero honda announced CBZ extreme I was very much excited for the obvious reasons.
But my excitement went in vain when I saw the bike.I didn’t like the looks at all.When they announced "Hunk", again I was excited (I have a weakness for Hero honda due to CBZ)..I liked the looks in pics.But when I saw it on road I felt the fuel tank is too big.It would n’t suite me as I m not a very macho kind of person.It will look like the bike is controlling me.So I thought, again I have to wait for some more time to get a good bike.I suggested one of my friend to buy this bike as I liked it and had gone through the reviews which are mostly positive.He bought it.But I didn’t have a chance to ride it though.
Last week I got a chance to ride this bike at about 11 P.M in outer ring road which didn’t have much traffic.And believe me I was so impressed that its not possible to express in words.I am just a safe rider who doesn’t know much of technical stuffs.But when I drove the bike I felt like a racing driver.For the 1st time in my life I drove at more than 100km/hr speed.And dats all coz of the bike which tempted me to raise the speed.And the bike was so smooth u’ll never feel like u r driving so fast.
The handling was really great.At such a speed the bike is rock steady no shaking at all.this is the one reason I m afraid of driving fast.But after riding Hunk, I just became fan of the bike.
When I came across a hump I applied brakes and it was like a smooth landing.And after that again I reached the speed of 80KM within 8-10 secs.It was awesome feeling.
Comfort is good.The bike really fits u.U’ll feeel like ur body parts are fixed and the bike is made just for u.Though I have not drove it for more than 25KMs but I can say U won’t have any back pain after long drive .But then also which bike won’t give u back pain if u drove it for very long ride say 200KMs..
The mileage is around 45..Not so bad...
Believe me if ur looking for a bike of 150cc then go for it.If u r a CBZ fan, then u should never miss it.
the reason I m giving 4 star is the big fueltank, mileage(I m a bit kanjoos, )and as I have drove it once and dnt know the technical stuffs..
and about me I am going for a 125 cc bike coz of the petrol prices..I have rounded off on Gladiator and the new Honda CBF stunner.If u have any opinion then u r welcome..
