Hunk - Lives up to its expectations!!!

Hi All, Mouthshut.com reviews have helped me a lot to choose good products always, Having done more than 5000kms with my hunk and had given it the toughest tests, just thought of giving my own review so that it would help people to choose wise..

Overall hunk is a very good bike and one can be sure that this bike will not disappoint one’s basic expectations upon a premium class bike. Most of the reviews I read, had strong comment on the bike’s name "Hunk" but one can realize the reason behind such a name if they physically see the vehicle..

Such a massive, muscular bike it is.. it is in fact the heaviest bike in its category.. so I think the name really adds meaning to its built.Well, now we will get along with the pros and consPROS:1. Stylish and Sporty look2. Amazing handling (you would never expect this from such a huge bike, Its handling lets you enjoy the ultimate thrill of driving)3. Smooth engine4.

Suspension equipped with GRS (Only HH vehicle to have GRS, GRS really adds plush to the comfort you get)5. Riding position6. Anti Kick Back Start lever (Rarely used)7. Great Hero Honda service (Really a responsible service I get from HH, unlike the service issues I faced with my previous bike)It is not fair at all, if I fail to mention about its butter smooth engine, Its pickup is good, you could notice that the engine is very responsive and even when you force it for a rapid rise the engine raises so smooth.

The riding position is NOT sporty, this helps to avoid neck/back pain in the long run and ideal for a long ride, the riding position is so comfortable that I never felt tired even after riding 300 kms in a streach, the pillion rider seat also offers absolute comfort. The handling is very good and u can easily cruise thru traffic. When I unleashed this beast, the top speed I could reach was 118km/hr with a pillion rider.CONS:1. Mileage (Honestly speaking I get not more than 40kmpl).

When you apply sudden brake at very high speed (above 85km/hr) the vehicle waves along it back (CAUTION: This is extremely dangerous to apply a single sudden brake at high speed the vehicle starts to wave along and you loose control so, at very high speeds always apply brake in a rapid recurrent way to reduce the speed quickly) 3. Head lamp not so bright and Horn not loud enough.

Tuffup tube (does not work as expected and the fluid flows out horribly when it gets punctured) I believe that bikes are not just meant for commuting, I had always enjoyed burning the road with this bike, with the average of 60km/hr speed I drive it, I get not more than 40kmpl (Though HH promises 53kmpl).

I am absolutely fine with this but, if you mind mileage, consider other options too before you decide upon this vehicle, and the other issues like the head lamp and horn could be solved very easily.Initially you may feel the gear shift as very clumsy but you should wait till the first service after which you would feel the gear shift normal. This is a good bike to own and a great bike to race..

If you have passion you could leave the world behind you with this master piece...Now having done nearly 10, 000 Kms with my Hunk, I still feel it good, The engine produced little vibration which was rectified with this service. But, the rear tyre has started to skid, I could not get the road grip I used to have but, 10, 000 Kms is very short for a tyre to become weary.. My previous bike I changed the tyres at 24, 000 Kms but now, I think I shuld soon replace my tyres. Now the milage has little increased fro 40 KMPL to 45 KMPL.
