Hero Honda Hunk Double Disk -stylish & Solid 150cc

Hi Friends,

A month ago I got my Hero Honda Hunk .This Muscle man color is sports red.

i strongly feel  It is Very handsome beast among any other 150cc bikes with (a small design flaw in it)  because Most of people glanced my vehicle on the road.

Though I’m living in Bangalore I’ve not booked this vehicle in Bangalore because of two reasons when I was about to book in Bangalore( four months back ) none of the showrooms had the new hero honda hunk but i’ve seen the new hunk in Madurai-Tamil nadu on the Diwali day. And I got the Hero honda Hunk Double disc quote for Rs 73000. After a month it is available in Bangalore also but the price of 83000 and I got shocked and they have no clue about when the bike will be get delivered. So I booked in my native itself and the dealer said it will be available with in a month.but he did not delivered as he said that is another story.

Things I’ve like most is

Engine that is really smooth and the hardly you will hear the engine sound when you drive it.

Compare to other vehicles the kerb weight is more in  hunk. So I feel while riding in highway it is very steady and no vibrations.

Digital speed o meter is very attractive and it shows the speed , Total and trip Km and date time.

Double disc is added advantage to the hunk my opinion double disk for more fancy drum brake is good enough for Indian roads.

Things I’ve not like.

Gear mechanism is not that smooth like Unicorn or GSR. Some times it leads to the false neutral. In the peak traffic you may end up with neutral. Expecting this thing will be solved after first service.

I guess i’m the only guy complained about this feature is the seating position of this bike.

From the foot reset the brake located few angle top so I’m not that comfort to raise my feet and keep my feet in brake. If I want to avoid that action I should not keep my foot on top of the brake only I’ve to keep in foot rest. I don’t think in emergency I can immediately  raise me feet to the brake lever. So i’m not doing that in the peak times may while driving in the highway this approach will help but for daily commute we have to travel in heavy traffic.

Note : my height is 5.11 may be that is also one thing I’m suspecting , all the tall guys should have faced this issue.

Pillion ride is not suitable for old people.

I don’t know any other hunk owners also facing foot rest and brake problem if it is how you guys are tackling this issue please suggest me.

still I’ve not complete my 200 km so mileage wise I’m not worried much and I’ve tested reserve to reserve and figured it out perfectly 40 KM/L.May be after the service it may increase or decrease.

I will update every month so keep eye on my review either my bike experience goes bad or improve.

wait and C.But upto now I love my bike very much.

Expecting Solution or Comment from Hunk Owners.
