I bought red hunk on 26 Feb’ 10 and started driving from 10 March @ 7.45pm. Till now it has done 8000kms and 4th service is over.
The bike is excellent in terms of performance, reliability and mileage. One thing I want to mention that I was eager to buy unicorn but becoz of its waiting time I bought hunk. I needed smooth engine, less maintenance, engine reliability which is a feature of unicorn. I found same in Hunk too. When I first drove it the acceleration was superb with no engine noise. I usually travel 45 kms daily with 50 city & 50 highway. I get 50 kmpl (overall) mileage when riding at normal speed between 40 to 60km per hour. One day I went for a long ride of 200km in single day. I never felt any tiredness during the travel.
After 3rd servicing of bike, rainy season stated in Mumbai. I was little conscious about how to drive the bike in rainy conditions. But let me tell you this bike has superb road grip. Whether the road is oily, dusty or slippery this bike will never skid. One day while going to office I was driving behind truck on the left hand. I saw a little space to go through. I accelerate and tried to go but suddenly an auto rickshaw came on my way. I was moving at a speed of 50kmph and I applied both brakes and it took me 2 second from 50 to 0kmph, but bike didn’t skid. I thank god and this bike for saving me from possible accident.
All 4 services are over and bike is running smooth.Sometimes I notice jerky acceleration but it remains for some time and usually not present after 30kmph. Bike does not vibrate at any speeds. Top speed I reached is 110 kmph. Gear Shifting is very smooth. Feel no pain in shifting gears. I faced starting problems in rain twice. I had to go to mechanic to start the bike. Headlight is worse. Even a candle can give bright light.
5th service is due now. I will update on the bike after 5th service.

-----------------------I couldn’t update after my last review. So here it is. Its been now 2 years and 9 months since I am driving this beauty. Still no complaints about reliability. Its fact that now I don’t drive 50 kms per day. I drive only 9 kms per day after changing my job and about 80 kms on every sunday for outing. Servicing is done in every 4 months. Now I am using mobil engine oil which gives me performance both in engine life and maintenance. Apart from it my mileage is also increased. Now it gives me 50kmpl in 1 ltr petrol. (Earlier it used to give me 50 too, but then petrol price was around rs. 55-65/ ltr.
Two month ago the problem occured in self start. I went to mechanic to show the battery. He said the battery is gone and need to replace. But I just clean the whole battery surface and look, it is still working without any problem.
All in all, I am much happy to have a bike like this. I dont know much about new version. But do not buy only seflstart vesion as kickstart is essential.
