Proud to be the owner of this beast

I got my new hunk 2011 panther black color 1 month back....and boy o boy...lemme tell u...that am proud to b the owner of this beast. i’ve been searching for a 150 cc bike for the past 8 months....read a lot of reviews....did a lot of test rides.....and finally I got stuck with the new hunk. hero honda has become a lot more innovative in its designing which I realized after seeing this bike. i’ve completed 1500kms and am getting a mileage of 60 kms/lt on highways and almost 50 in the pocket roads and in cities. dont b surprised. here are a few tips that might help u boost ur bike’s mileage:

  1. never exceed 60 kms/hr in first 1000 kms

  2. dont strain the engine by taking it to a higher rpm. shift the gears as early as possible

  3. u will surely get a mileage btwn 50 - 60 if u limit ur speed ( ie within 45). I know its pretty difficult to get on  a beast like this and limit our speed....but u’ll have to sacrifice that if u wanna get more mileage.

  4. avoid sudden breaking

thats all for the mileage.....now lets move onto the power. hunk and CBZs share the same engine but the tuning is diffrnt. thats y hunk delivers more power and less mileage. it gives u  14.4 ps of power. I will never boast about the power.....coz its not as  powerful as pulsar 180s...apache 180s...etc. but it is the most powerful one in the 150 cc segment. when I saw hunk for the first time I very much worried about its handling...coz of its huge petrol tank and additional bull horns on the top of the tank. but guys..trust me on this....u will never feel any diffclty in handling...it cruises through the city traffic and the handling is excellent and is very comfortable on long drives as well as city drives.

few problems that I encountered are given below:

1.  Gear shifts are not very smooth. hope it’ll get rectified aftr the secnd service

  1. had an alignment prob which I got repaired in the first servce. ( but dont worry . I believe my dealer was responsible for that. their service was very poor)

  2. breaking is not effective as it used to be. may b thats because my bike doesnt have a rear disc.

thats all guys..........
