I bought this Machine on Dec 2nd of 2012. 2012 model with rear disc(this gives full handling). It was my Dream bike from the age of 12. Because of it looks. For that reason I got this as my first bike. The Awesomeness of this bike cannot be described in Words. Only a true Hunker can feel it. The main problem with this bike is Hard gears, while shifting gears it is not smooth as compared to other 150cc bikes. Even after servicing. I tried a lot to solve this but nothing lasted long. And other is the height of leg Brake and gear rod.
I go on Long rides often and my foot pains as the Leg brake is too high. I think hero company should work on this thing. The Headlamp, it is also a small problem if you go out on highway at night times. The intensity of light is less on low beam. Anyhow the bulb can be changed. Small disc also is a small disappointment, The best thing of hunk is it’s Enormous Pick-up, Best Mileage. I get a mileage of 45 approx. in city and in highways it increases to 55. The bad thing on long drives it produces revving sound in engine soon, as soon as you cover 100 kms in a single drive. My top speed till now on this machine is 120Km. For a bike of 150cc and 14.4ps, this is it. Although Other bikes of 150cc like Yamaha R15 and Fz can go even more as their Ps is More than that of Hunk. Hunk is designed in such a way to give more mileage. But compared to other 150cc bikes like Honda Unicorn, honda dazzler, yamaha Fz, Tvs Apache and also CBZ Xtreme and Ignitor, it has more Pick-up.
If you keep a drag race between HUNK and these bikes, definitely Hunk will be the Winner. If you Plan to buy a 150cc bike, better have an test drive of this bike. I’ve did Little Modifications with it, that’s why i’m Still loving it. It Includes Removing of Saree guard to lighten your bike, K&N filter inside, larger wheels, Tank pad.
