Had a yamaha rx 100 before.I sold it 8 months ago as I shifted base.
I was back to my native and instantly I was looking for a bike to buy.
I zeroed upon bajaj avenger.
Why ? I wanted power and looks.
My bike should be such that it should turn all heads in my bike’s direction.
I didnt want to buy a pulsar as every tom, dick and harry has it.
Though I made up my mind to buy an avenger still I was not very much happy with the product.
It was good but not my dream machine....
I went to buy the bike in october..I reached the showroomn in the morning.
And then it happened.
I hesitated entering the showroom......
Avenger was not the bike of my dreams.i made up my mind not to buy the bike.
Came back home empty handed.
My search began again....
Just like all other yamaha fans I was hoping for all those promises of yamaha fazer 250 and gladiator 150..
Days passed on.I didnt have a bike.
Hero Honda released HUNK.I saw the posters.It seemed a good bike on the posters, but didnt attract me.
i made up my mind to buy a gladiator black JA edition.
One evening I was waiting for my friend and then I saw the muscle.A panther black HUNK.
All I could say was wow.
The bike was parked nearby and I went to see the bike in greater details.
Awesome looks.The bike didnt seem to have such food looks inthe posters.
Thats because the beauty of the petrol tank extension, which makes the bike stand out in a crowd could not be captured in a two dimensional poster.
The best looking bike in india.even better than a KARIZMA/PULSAR.
I read reviews and visited hunk showrooms after that.
Today I am a proud owner of a sports red HUNK.
It has been two weeks since my baby is with me.

Why did I buy this vehicle?
1.Awesome looks.(10/10)

2.Excellent riding position ( rider and pillion rider) (10/10)
3.Five (5) speed gearbox.(10/10)
4.150 CC bike with 45-50 mileage.(8/10)
5.real good acceleration.(9/10)
what I like and dislike about this vehicle.
likes : already mentioned.
dislike : single shifter gearbox, No Box can be attached to the bike.
Driving experience:
Its GRS ensures a smooth ride, The disk brake ensures the bike stops at an instant.
No vibrations are felt during the ride
Its real smooth ride, but you can feel the power inside.
who should buy this bike :
all the young people who likes speed, impress girls and get the real feel of a sports bike.

Review after 750 kms done on the bike
*All that was written by me in the first half remains unchanged....Since last month the number of HUNKs burning the roads have increased. Its time to share some problems faced:
1.HUNK fails in rain.
a few weeks back (when the meter was showing 550 km) I had gone to someplace where it was raining heavily.The bike was drenched in heavy rain for more than 2 hours.
When I started my journey back it was still raining heavily.the bike started in one go.I reached speed of about 80 km/hr on a highway.suddenly I could feel the accelerator not working, the rpm needle gradually going down inspite of trying to accelerate the bike.ultimately the bike came to a standstill on the road.The bike started after tries and I was again on the road.
that day I had travelled around 15 kms in rain and my bike had stopped around 10 -12 times.
The very next day I took the bike for servicing and the guys at service centre told me that it was due to tuning problem.They fixed the tuning issue.
2- 3 days ago again I was riding in rain and I faced the same problem.
This time I noticed a trend.The bike stops in rain when you ride it at full throttle.at lower gears like neutral, first, 2nd the bike does not halt. For gears >= 3 the problem again surfaces.
Although there was a good news.The bike did not come to standstill.As it was coming to standstill I tried to accelerate it a lot and eventully before halting the bike picked up the acceleration with a heavy jerk.
I promise to let you guys know more of this story as I go for servicing one more time and ask for a solution from the service centre guys.
*2.The horn should have been more powerfull.
*I personally feel that the New BAJAJ pulsar bikes have very good horn ( the sound is comparable to that of a car).
other than these 2 problems HUNK is a pleasure to ride.its an awesome bike.
