I had this bike for more thn three years (Feb’2008 - Sep’2011) but, now I sold it..it was my biggest mistake an I miss it till today. Yes it was a 1st hand bike and I use to ride it almost 35-40kms daily..yes repeat DAILY to my office except on sundays an other holidays whn I used to go outing with my wife and friends.
well here r some of the positive points in the bike -
soundless (while wearing a full mask helmet heardly u can hear a sound
Self Start was with me till I sold it in 72, 540 kms (never failed)
the more u speed up for Eg..90 - 100km per hour speed , it gets more smoother (less vibration)
the gear shift was the best part of the bike (very very and very smooth- no slips, no stucks)
Decent pick up as u can expect from a 4stroke bike.
The seat was good and very comfortable for the butt for long rides as well
feels very light and easy to handle in harsh traffic conditions
sporty looks
good milage (45 - 50kmpl)
very maintainence free almost 0-maintainence
Now here are the negative ones -
Chain gets loosend too quickly and chain cover as well (checking keeps it normal)
Rear mudguard could have been a bitt better
Rear tire could have been a bit broader
Handle could have been a bit down (like in Pulsars)
Battey needs to be checked after 60, 000kms
Rear tire needs to be changed after 40, 000kms (depending on riding)
Body parts gets loosend after evry 20, 000kms
But, the negative ones does not really matter cause the positive ones gives much more happiness , you see all bikes need to be taken care of to make the owner happy, and if u value your money then brother I suggest U GO FOR IT..believe me, ==i sold it cause of a bloody Royal Enfield Thunderbird Twinspark == and took a mouthfull of suffering, now till date I miss my Hunk..it has never made a big cut in my pockets..shouldnt hv sold it man I was so happy..and now I stare at others Hunk and give them free compliments..
Any ways guys forget what people talk regarding Hero Honda / HeroMotocop crap....just go for it..it is currently available for (68, 000 on road) in kolkata , and fix a local experienced mechanic..believe me u will be happy.
