I bought my Hunk(black) on 1-Jan-2008. Till now I have done 18000 kms. Its really a good bike on highway and city ride. No performance issue till date. I have two hunk at my house and both are doing fine.
My requirements:
I had to run daily 60km and I wanted a bike with fair mileage, style, handelling and looks. But my priority was more on handelling.
*pro’s:
*1. Good handelling(first thing to notice, truly its better than any other bike in this segment).
Good looks and style(better than CBZ extreme, close fight to pulsar. but pulsar is too common).
Good initial pickup(0-60). Better than pulsar but pulsar has better pickup after 60.
Good after sales service. you will find many service stations as compare to any other company.
Mileage is OK. I get between(45-50) km/lit
top speed 110 km/h
con’s:
I found a permanent problem with chain, it gets little bit noisy/loose after every 1000km. I got it replaced but the problem is still there. but it’s not such a big problem.
Break light gets fused after every three months dont know why.
Riding position & seat is good for city riding only(two hours journey). not suited for long riding.
Milage at initial 5000 km was around 35km/lit.
The engine will not be that smooth after 15000 km.
No good colours(falshy red, dull blue.dusty black(panther black). I like blue and red of pulsar.
whick bike I prefer?(pulsar/hunk):
There is a close fight between pular and hunk. the only reason I didnt went for pulsar is that its toooo common(3/5 bikes). and other is the handelling of hunk is surely better than pulsar. so my choice is HUNK. suggestion: dont go for CBZ extreme.
