I purchased Karizma R in July’13. Its a superb bike with nice looks, engine power and comfort. I am getting a decent mileage around 40kmpl since second service. For a few thousands of km, gear shift was a little bit hard. But as bike uses more, gear shift becomes Smooth. Its very common for all bikes.
The price tag is very affordable for a 223cc bike, especially from Hero brand. Fit and finish of the bike is good.
U will definitely notice the riding position of Karizma, where u can sit steady and comfortably, which offers great confidence in road.
Due to the weight of the vehicle u will feel the sporty effect while driving., even after 80kmph also u will not feel the speed of the bike. Breaking and stability is excellent. U can cuts into the corners and bends very easily, that will give an ultimate sports bike feeling.
Meter console with a trip meter and digital clock is very convenient, but fuel gauge sometimes gives wrong readings. Tail lamps are very attractive. Kicker provided is not in convenient position, but the self start alone will do the job perfectly.
Rear view mirror is still the old type, visor mounted will b more attractive like R15 or pulsor 220. Karizma suits to all age types. If u r planning to buy this macho machine, don’t wait for. Get it soon.
