Hero doesnt care about customers once the bike is sold (my warranty going in vain )
I bought my bike last year in September 2012. From the very first day, the speedometer needle was vibrating too much for which i was reassured that such a thing is normal in a new bike and it will get fixed in the first servicing. After the first servicing was over the needle had become even worse as it stuck to 80km/h speed mark. When pointed out i was told that the speedometer was faulty and that we will get the spare parts soon and give you a call.
I did not receive any call which wasnt surprising. I kept checking with pratham motors on a regular basis but no one paid any heed to my complaints. I went to the hero office and registered an official complaint in the complaint book. I still havent heard from anyone.
It has been a ridiculous wait of more than 10 months and neither pratham motors nor the hero motorcorp has taken any steps to address the issue. Its a shame that a renowned and trusted name like hero shows such callous attitude towards its customers. I am a college going student and my reviews and recommendations, to my friends and colleagues, towards this issue would greatly depend on how this matter is handled.
