Style & Built
Yet another quality product of Hero Honda with no compromise on the quality again. The initial look reminded me of MV Augusta, may be HH could have opted for dual colors like silver and red or something like that breaking the barrier of single color. The front half resembles really a sports bike, except for the traditional mirror. Thanks to the resembelance of alloy wheels and good looking discs. But HH has not lent their ears to the kicker problem like CBZ...oh!!! did I notice the self starter? Ok...they have heared, but why the same kicker problem again?
When I saw the digital equipments I said WOW, again the front panels looks good. My choice would always be a centre RPM meter and left side speedo meter :). That rushes my adrenaline to keep watching the rev going higher and higher than the speedo. Anyway the tachometer also is small in size. The exhaust may be reworked a bit to have better look on other side.
Engine
Ok, I would say a big brother of CBZ. But I have another thought may be Im greedy or something. If CBZ produces 12.6 HP with 156.6 CC engine...why didnt 233 CC produce 20 HP? Anyway the gear ratios are good, better than CBZ or Pulsar I would say. The fourth and top are awesome, they pull like 3rd. But 3rd appears to be slower than CBZ...yes I just saw the gear ratio comparison, slight differences in the 3rd, 4th and 5th. When HH said 0-60 in 3.83 sec I didnt believe, may be they could pull. But one thing for sure the roll one speed is excellent for this bike. I would expect a different engine here however that wasnt the case. Anyway, air injection and AMI are included technologies from CBZ & Ambition.
Lighting
The 7 amps headlight is a good job there has been a good work at the reflectors. The over all lightings are good and gives better than any two wheeler headlight in India. Again first of the kind, park lights, turn indicators, tail lamps are good.
Ride
I found it bit difficult initially. May be Adreno users like this. Yes the headlights doesnt turn when U turn the handlebar. .oO(have to grow up to get used to this). Its slightly difficult to twist and turn the bike at high speed. May be HH should have paid little attention to the frame to increase manuverability. Most of the bikes here in India have single or double cradle except for Kinetic Energy & Adreno. This made me to have a little difficult ride in terms of typical Indian ride in traffic. Thanks to the excellent disks and as usual HHs effecient braking helps here for control.
