ppl here know me for comparing diff cars with bikes and stuff like that .. I used to own a p180 dtsi ..... recently sold that and bght a karizma last week.
i bght this bike b’coz of riding style and the smooth powerful engine ...
i really love this bike for its smoothness and the power it has compared to p180 ..
u all will love the handling of the bike where as the rear tyre is not that good ...
the first day I bght the vehicle I had a lil confusion abt the handle bar , but now got used to it .. the head lights are damn powerful .. and the horn sucks .. the ignition is very very fast . the handling is superb , all the digital meters r cool .. u’ll really love the style of the twin tail lights ... but there r sum problems like wrong fuel guage and no side stand warner and the sound frm the mufler hiting the silencer ..
the first 500 kms was hard for me like hard gear shifting and lot of sounds frm the body and the engine .... but after the 1st service the bike was smoooth and the gears were smooth too .. and the braking improved and no engine noise ..
this bike shld be serviced once in a mnth as there is a problem with the muffler and the rear braking and lil harshness in the gearing part .....
upgrading the bike : - first change the horn .. I prefer setting up the pulsar horn .
emergency lights is preferable . ( all 4 indicators )
change the head light ( 12 v ) 110/90 - neon. powerful.
engine guard :- do not fix this for the 1st 2 services .. later
u can fix that with lots of air outlets .. dont worry abt the eng getting
hot or engine cranking ... but do give lot of air outlets ..
change the tyre ( preferable ) but I think it is waste of money
if changed in the begining ...
the stock silencer is good .....
fix the sporty rear mirrors to the visor and remove these .
hi fi upgrading :-
- mono shock is the best choice but will cost u nearly 5-6k’s .. this
will improve ur bike stability and the smootthness ..
rear disc brake ...4k’s nearly ..... but shld change the tyre ...
upgrading ur seat into a comet seat ... looks really sexy on this
bike .. sporty look and comfortable too ..
- hi fi tuning ur engine can make ur speedo touch 150+
the bike is really good at 60 ... beware the bike skids a lot with the stock tyres on wet roads ....
the lights r really good ... do start ur bike on choke everyday morning for atleast 45 secs ..... dont start tthe bike with elcetric strat at mornings ..
thats it guys .... my bike trip has touched 820 till now and is giving me 36 . iam maintaining 50-55 .... but once touched 120 ... do maintain the speed for the first 2000 kms ... touching high speeds dosent matter at times ... but 99% of the times maintain 50 ...
i bet this bike will give 35 -40 if maintained well and touching high speeds at times ...
