’’KEKEKEKE ..... KERISHMA ... NOO NOO ...KARISHMA ...OOPS SORRY ACTUALLY ITS KARIZMA ’’ I unfortunately dont own this bike (though I have always dreamt of owning this just coz it suits Indian conditions ... but the bike of my dreams is noo less than those 1000cc sports bikes)....but I have satisfactorily experienced riding this bike ... Wellll before writing this review a really had to do some strenuous homework I guess.. because I had to study this bike pretty closely before I could draw any conclusions regarding it. afterall I had to gather this information for my sister …. It was her wish that I review this bike on Mouth Shut
When the country’s numero uno manufacturers HERO HONDA churns out the most best and the most good looking bike in India till date for its consumers the expectations from it would be obiviously manifold … so does HERO HONDA really succeed in this .. well I believe they really do succeed but to a certain extent, undoubtedly KARIZMA is the most hottest and the most liked bike in our country …Well Karizma which can be speculated by most of us as “INDIA’S FIRST PREMIUM SPORTS SEGMENT BIKE “ and I do really agree with this kind of anticipation as this was the first kind of sports bike manufactured that completely would suit we Indian’s conditions ... well if we introduce this bike as a sports bike to some foreigner who has been used to sports bikes …then he would really end up laughing at the joke
I would firstly applause Hero Honda for atleast trying something new … And I am sure many of you people would really agree with me …just imagine a pulsar ... CBZ … unicorn … and karizma ..kept together and you are given a choice to chose you like the most … Then the first choice of majority of us would be Karizma … …take my case itself ...I really envy or I mean I get soo jealous of my friend when he rides on his karizma and steals the attention of everybody .. specially girls;-) whenever he goes across a bunch of kids they stare at him and shout in unison kariiishma!!!!…Leaving my pulsar ignored…It is a bike for those… who believe in its fascinating style, in its extravagant class , in its fabulous ergonomy and as well who believe that this bikes really oozes attitude ..want to be a center of attraction and all heads turn to you..and offcourse its performance

LOOKS, STYLING AND APPEARANCE
Well … I had a pretty close look of this bike from different angles and different positions … for sometime it looked to me as if I am having a look at a female model so that I can capture it in the best mood …
Beginning with how this bike looks when u r facing it … The front faring of the bike looks quite fascinating and fabulous if you compare this faring with other bikes as it has been very uniquely designed keeping in mind the basic requirements for a sports utility bike …. I would give it 90/100 for its front looks …… the front faring has been designed very beautifully and the fabulously designed trapezoidal headlights does the entire job of illumination …It really lights up the surroundings in night...
Then I moved in a clockwise direction to its right …. Now I could see the bike longitudinally … and this really left me chanting with its enchanting looks …. It looked quiet sporty .. and it was love at first sight for me …it really looked as a real delicate darling, its design was perfect upto the precision … leaving nothing more that could be desired...
Then moving to its tail ….the bike looks good from rear .. this bike really was something different from traditional bikes … as it has been designed such that there are twin lamps in its tail assembly making it look just too gorgeous in night which contributes to its glamorous visual appeal.
The bike has got a digital speedo as well as a digital clock both of which are first of its kind for any Indian bike …. It really is a pleasure when u have a view on that digital LCD speedo display

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS AND PERFORMANCE
Turning to its technical specifications … hmmmm …. The bike comes with a advanced microprocessor ignition and CCVI technology which are helpful for better throttle response and smooth as well as luxurious running…. The bike’s engine is a fabulous 223cc machine and it churns out approximately 17 bhp power output at 7000 rpm and a torque around 18.5 Nm. Well these specifications look awesome if we are looking for a traditional bike … but if u dream for a sports bike … I feel this is les than expectations .. but anyhow it still is the best because what the hell can we do more in Indian conditions… the magnesium alloy mag wheels and the 276 mm disc breaks make the bike a visual treat ….
Regarding the bikes performance .. HH claims that Karizma can be easily maneouvered from 0-60 in just 3.8 seconds flat…. I can’t comment on this coz I never tried that .. but speaking about its pick up well … it was the best in its class …. and its TOP SPEED that I could reach was 120kmph ... but I guess it can cross that mark maybe 130kmph though I am not sure....

HANDLING
The bike really excels in its handling aspects …. It is on par with international standards for its handling capability … the bike can be handled with very much ease .. and it really wont prove painful in long rides it has excellent cornering … This bike is a delicate beauty .. God Forbid but a single crash on this bike will prove fatal for you and if u escape the crash then it will surely be fatal for your pockets .. coz its accessories are really heavily priced .. once the digital speedo is damaged or the front faring is damaged be ready to shell out a minimum 10, 000 rupees ….so in short “THIS BIKE IS A FRAGILE PACKAGE … HANDLE IT DELICATELY WITH UTMOST CARE”

FUEL EFFICIENCY
Can we Indians be able to uniformly cope up with the hike in fuel rates … as well as the rate at which this bike consumes fuel .. its mileage is around 36-38kmpl in highways conditions and merely 30-32kmpl in city conditions ….but overall with the way the bike performs the mileage might not be a worrying factor for some of us …..

VERDICT
I would just say that this is a dream bike for everyone of us .. but once this gets older and good maintainance factor comes into play .. we may feel the heat … after summing up Karizma scores 67/80 .. which averages about 8.375/10 …. It isn’t too bad .. but at same time it isn’t too good too … but as we all know for every advantageous factor there is also some disadvantages ….. so summing it up it’s “A GOOD BIKE”….
