I have the pleasure of owning a black Karizma for more than 3 years now. So I guess I can provide my inputs which can be shared and be helpful for others in d future.
The engine of the bike is truly a gem and has Honda quality. I have had a pleasurable time with my bike. Have driven from smooth pothole-less tollways to awfully pothole-only roads. The driving experience has been unparallel. Since the bike has more height than its competetors, I had never been stuck in water-clogged roads of both Bangalore and Mumbai.
The steadiness given by the bike even at speeds crossing 110k/hr is just awesome. I had a Yamaha RX before this. Even though the pick up was excellent, the bike used to shake post 70-75K/hr. Same was with other bikes like Unicorn. Have driven Pulsers too, but the gradual braking of Karizma and the smoothness of drive was missing in them.
Since mine is mostly for city drive, I travel at speeds of 60-80k/hr. Hence m getting a good mileage of more than 35km/liter of petrol. For all those who think that this "monster" is a petrol guzzler, I beg to differ and have my bike for comparison. Of course, if you tend to race away to you destination there is no bike which would return you the mileage and Karizma is no exception.
I have driven the bike in two different cities, Bangalore and Mumbai. The servicing of the bike at both the places were quite ok. But the Hero Honda showroom on Intermediate Ring Road, Bangalore is somehow always out of body parts. Hence I am a bit unsatisfied on that account.
But overall, if you have the zeal to drive this beauty(of course, with responsibility), I would say GO AND HAVE A BALL:)
