Hassel free bike, great comfortable, ideal for long distance touring at 90 - 95 kmph non stop. torquey engine. goes great till 7000 rpm suddenly there is d power drop.
Plastic side panels are very delicate and very costly too.awesome engine with optimum torque to carry u and your fat buddy uphill engine dosent cry or complain even though textbook figures are not very impressive compared to bigger pulsars.
Now the reason for this marvel is its engine is derived from honda streetbike CRF230M dont believe me just see this site n compare with ur zmas specs https://powersports.honda.com/2009/crf230m/specifications.aspx only gear box is different being 5 cogged for our zma also proving its engine is originally made for 6 cogs not five so its HHML modesty to keep its speed limited to 125 and cogs to 5 cos I dont think indian roads can take much more .so in a way u r riding genuine honda 223 cc bike (EAT this bajaj) forget shine stunner or unicorn.
Great city and highway riding. electicals are of good quality nothing much in 3 yrs and 32000 kms except twice replacing rear brake light.rain , heavy rains or mumbai downpour I dont think your bike needs to stall in midway .fuel efficiency is just so so considering cubic capacity but dont expect more than 42 kmpl ever.over all a good deal if you are looking for a versitile bike in terms of racing and touring.great ergonomics and handling. very stable at very high speeds.As easy to ride as 100 cc commuters . gear box is very crisp say one of the best in country forget false neutrals and gear jamming.
Forget breakdown even after long periods high speed tours.looks wise some feel looks less macho but then its aerodynamic flaring gives it stabality at speeds above 100 kmph. on an highway you ll be seeing only sedans overtaking you forget small cars and other bikes. in congested city forget that its a 223 cc n imagine it to be 125 cc commuter and it will do just fine. chassis is dammn sturdy I went down thrice with this bike( I attribute all to my stupidity) buts its foundation remainred intact so were my bones. only its stupid brittle plastic parts made my wallet lighter.
So my dear friends if you own a karizma be happy with it because in real ground its the good ownership experience and stop comparing whats written in bike magazines specification column or price column leave that job to statisticians what you r gonna do is ride hard and experience air trying to gush inside ur helmet at 125 kmph. and those of you who are confused about buyin it or some other motorcycle I suggest take test ride insted of reading magazines and then decide(dont forget to take your fat buddy along for a test ride) after all you are intrested in bikes muscle strength arent u??? happy and safe riding!
