’Charisma - The ability to influence without the use of logic.’ That said, the new Hero Honda Karizma ZMR does that and more with grandeur.
The new Karizma ZMR FI comes with the same 223 cc engine but now augmented with fuel injection which increases the power marginally at 17.6 bhp @ 7000 rpm with a maximum torque of 18.35 nm. Hero Honda also claims a top speed of 135 kmph.But it is costlier than the older Karizma with Ex-Showroom Price of Rs.91, 000/-
Since the chasis is same as that of old Karizma so you dont have to worry about the Build Quality, Handling and Seating Position. Hero Honda have also done many cosmetic changes to make it look more attractive.
Following are the changes:-
1) It now comes with a full front fairing covering entire engine which makes it look more sportier.
2) It has Split Clip On Handle Bars and Split rear grab rails.
3) It has been launched in many attractive colours with white being the flagship colour.
4) It also has new headlamp and tail lamp which are now LED.
5) It also has new striking Graphics.
6) It now has Gas Charged Rear Shock Absorbers
7) There is also a Customised Welcome Message which is displayed on turning on the ignition.
The only Drawback of this Bike according to me is that the Power(12.68 Kw (17 Ps) @ 7000 rpm) and Torque(18.35 Nm @ 6000 rpm) is less for a 225cc bike when compared to P220. The other problem is the waiting period which is close to 3 months.
So if you will ask me then I will definitely say yes to go for this bike....Hero Honda Karizma....Always Game!
