I am writing this review first time.I bought the bike my passion plus on 31 march 2004.
Before this I was thinking to buy victor or freedom but my family said that go for hero honda for its quality.So I bought passion plus purple sticker.
The bike is so refined and quit than any bike in its category.My uncle has passion and passion plus power and pick up is greater than old passion.Till now I have completed 80000kms without any engine overhaul and still it is in good condition. Its a zero maintenance bike .
No silencer burns as usual in bajaj bikes only after 2 years. Every part is of very good quality. I feel that my bike will tick 99999 without any engine problem as its is very quite till now and no smoke or engine oil burns.
These points to be noted :
Power:
As document says its a 7.6ps@8000 rpm and 8.05nm torque@5500rpm.Its rpm is its +ve point as it increases its power .I have done regular trippling on it first two years as I was in school with a good power.
Mileage:
The mileage I got was a gift for me as I thought it will give me 60-65kmpl but it gave me 76kmpl .It was a surprise to my uncle who have a old passion giving 55-60kmpl.They dont believe this but it was true.
I got 65kmpl at 70kmph that was good .Now I am getting 65kmpl as it is 5years old now.
Speed:
Its maximum speed I got on highway was 95+ actually near 100 not exact 100 by leaning on the handle bars.Genrally it goes 85kmph very quickly and easily goes to 90 kmph with pillion.That was good for a 100cc bike .
Handling:
handling is quit good as it is very comfortable to me .I have gone on a 200km from Meerut to Ambala two times and once direct 400km to and fro without a break up on full speed .Its life is greater than 10year.
