I bought my new HH passion pro (power start) on 08/12/11. I dint have to book and wait. Bike was available (frost black), so I got it immediately. First I was planning to buy honda twister because of its mileage. but later on changed my mind as I did not like the styling of the bike very much. also as I am married, it dint feel that comfortable for my wife to sit along with our child. So I finally decided on passion pro (I wanted to buy only of honda or hero honda).
Its just less than a week now since i’m riding this bike. This is my first bike. Earlier I had a bajaj legend scooter (out of production). Now I really like to ride the passion pro. Its ride is very comfortable, good handling. Only thing in the morning when I first start (kick start), the accelerator does not respond well for some time. Lter on during the day it is ok. Might be it takes some time to warm up.
Regarding the mileage, I am very satisfied with it. I got a mileage of 70 km/litre. I used the reserve-to-reserve method to calculate the mileage. I first filled with petrol of rs. 100 (1.52 litre in goa). I kept cork in ’ON’ position and ran bike till it went to reserve. when it went to reserve, I turned cork to ’RESERVE’ position and reset the trip-meter. then I went to petrol pump and fill petrol of rs. 100, turned cork to ’ON’ position. After running 105.6 km, it went into reserve again. That is, the bike ran for 105.6 km in 1.52 litre of petrol. That turns out to be a mileage of 69.5 km/litre. Quite amazing. That too before the 1st service. I always rode between 40 to 45 km/hr.
Till today I am very satisfied with the bike. Have to wait and see what happens in the future.
