Over promised and under delivered

This is my 2nd Bike from Hero and I have had this bike for 6-8 Mths now and clocked about 12K KM believe me this is 1 non-sense bike, I am comparing this to my old Splendor from Hero Honda which is a GEM , after its changes to heromotocorp , Bike Quality and standards have gone to Dogs , I have read a lot of reviews about this Bike to see if others have the same problem and to my Surprise 80% of them have the same issues .

i) Mileage (46-48) KMPL ( pathetic and not acceptable for a 100 CC Bike.

ii) Hell a lot of starting trouble in cold engine.

10% of them are lucky not to have any trouble, the remaining 10% are new to Bikes so they are not able to give correct feedback ( like one of those college Kiddos) From the comments by all other users it appears that from about of 100 Bikes only 3-4 bikes are giving a good 70 KMPL and are having no issues. Shame on those engineers who have designed this Bike, when I spoke to different Mechanics about my Bike problem - Its boiling down to 1 common problem called " CARBURETTOR".

No fool is going to pay 58, 000 bucks for a 100CC bike only for looks. From my experience in an MNC business it appears that HeroMotocorp is just pushing bike sales UP and UP ; not keeping quality in mind as profit margin in 100CC bike is small hence literally playing the fool with Customers money and increase their shareholders profit and not to forget those useless Showroom Mechanics who are struggling very hard/experimenting/learning sometimes stealing from bikes which come in for servicing.

Fortunately, ( touch wood ) I really don`t bother about this Screwed Up bike as I have a Lovely SUV and a Bullet for commuting , However I still would like to have a Fuel efficient 100 CC bike parked in my house.( as it reminds me of those days how I used to struggle for a living trying to make small savings with rising petrol prices every 6 months).

I welcome all critics about my review on this Bike.
