Hero Honda 100 cc segmant bike’s quality has dropped considerably after cost cutting drive in race for competition with Bajaj .The fuel consumption has increased and engine life is now considerably short in 100 cc segment after indegenisation of carburetor and Liner piston set.
The Japanese liner-piston set is still available at the authorized showrooms at a bit higher price(about Rs 400) which came as a original fitment at the launch of CD 100 launch in India. Hero Honda can still give its customers a edge by giving the imported critical spare parts as a standard fitment by launching it as a premium version in the same segment.
The BAJAJ instead has improved its bike’s build quality, upgraded its technology abd reliability as compared to Hero Honda, which has nothing introduced something very innovative, due to lack of which the company is continuously losing market share.The Hero Honda holds the current market share due to its previous market credits as compared to Bajaj which ic constantly improving its brand image in terms of technology, reliability and looks.
