I have been an owner of the pleasure for the past 3 years. This is a great scooter for any ladies or men( who hate bikes.) Till now the odometer shows 23000km. The only major problem that has occured to me is a tyre blast, and I installed a new mrf tyre. Following are pluses and minuses on my ownership for 3 years of this scooter.
Plus
The scooter starts mostly on the first or second touch, anyway I start with the kick in the mornings. It is adviced.
The suspension is pleasant for rough roads.
Pick up is normal. It goes smoothly on the economy speed range.
Large storage space. You can fill your helmet and still fit around 5kg of provision inside.
The footspace also adds to the utility space. Overall It has more utility than active and access.
The seat is large. 3 persons can travel comfortably.
The company mileage is 45-50kmpl. But in my use I have obtained a maximum 63kmpl and minimum 48kmpl. The overall mileage is around 58kmpl. This has the best mileage in its class.
The powerful engine works great.
Minus
A little more power could have been suitable. This is clear during overtakings. The scooter is designed for smooth use only
The plastics and paint quality is not good. Lots of scratches are obtained even on slight contact. Although painting the whole body costs only 2000rs.
Service is not upto mark, For eg. One of the screw holder of the front compartment was broken and I had to replace the whole compartment for that! So tactical service is not expected.
The choke is not reliable. You can pull the choke and even attempt 4-5 times to start.
Overall this scooter is ideal for women and students. This is safe and offers a smooth ride and hero honda’s reliability and great mileage for 40000rs. I suggest Go for it
