I decided to buy a vehicle for my daily 30Km ride. I preferred Honda DIO(coz of the brand name). When I passed by the Hero honda showroom. the looks of the PLEASURE made to drop in and enquire about the vehicle. Finally I decided to book one.
Now it is 8 months. Initially I drove it only btw 30 - 40 KMPH, for the engine to set. it was giving me a mileage of 48KMPL. After a month I started driving btw 45 - 60 KMPH. Now the mileage is steadily 55 KMPL for city ride. I love the way it runs. smooth(even when I am speeding in 60 KMPH).
But the problem I am having with my vehicle is its brake and the vehicle going off when the throttle is suddenly brought to idle. Braking distance is bit high(think this is only with my vehicle). Also I could not accomodate my helmet in the carriage area.
Service is extremely GOOD.!
The luggage compartment in the front is very useful. I love the way it is. expecting more models from Hero Honda.
A small update: By latest my vehile gave me a mileage of 58.8 KMPL in themonth of december. No change my style of driving. Also it started(power start) within two strokes after 4 days break.
