Real Pleasure

Actually I bought this scooter for my wife. But once I rode it, I liked it so much that I dont lose any opportunity to use it. I chose this vehicle over Activa as it is shorter, lighter and something new. Plus there was the fact that it is a Hero Honda product. Hero Honda products normally do not fail. The yellow colour is ultimate. A very good scooter overall.

Some Drawback I discovered are-

  1. The front panel could be a bit wider. The narrow front end gives it the look of a small scooter.

  2. The boot space also could be a bit bigger. As it is it does not have alock up glovebox in the front. The boot under the seat is barely enough to accommodate a small helmet.

  3. The side indicators do not have beepers.

  4. Fuel tank capacity is always a problem with most scooters nowadays. The fuel tank capacity for this one is 5 litres.

  5. The turning radius leaves a bit to be wished for.

Pros:-

  1. The vehicle rides very smoothly. No jhatkas here.

  2. The seating is very comfortable. My wife has a back problem and if nothing, this scooter’s atleast not aggravated it.

  3. Suspension is great.

  4. Handling is good. Even at 70 kmph the vehicle doesn’t seem out of control.

  5. Fuel economy is fine as I clocked 48 kmpl the last time I checked.

  6. Last but not the least, it looks cool as well. The yellow colour is a real show stealer.

Overall it is really a pleasure to ride. The cost is good. I would certainly recommend this scooter for city riding. Other than the advertisement, there is nothing distinctively "Girlie" about this scooter. It carries me just as well. I think Hero Honda just managed to limit it’s customer base by branding this bike a "Girlie" bike. But I am very happy with my choice, and so is my wife.
