Herohonda SA RE GA MA PA is the only entertainment programme I watch besides INDIAN IDOL.The programme proves that , if given chance, we have so much talent in our country that we can have a thousand SONU NIGAMS and a thousand ASHAJIes. If the two shows are compared, SA RE GA MA PA
is far ahead of INDIAN IDOL.The panel of judges is quite elite and far better than those of I.idol.The expert comments of the GURUs are a lesson to everyone including the viewres sitting at home.Though sometimes I feel Bappida plays a spoil sport.
Vishal is the most enthusiastic along with Shekhar and speaks his heart out.They are usually fair to all the contestants.Himesh and I.Darbar are a treat to watch.They are also genuine in their judgement.I back Himesh on the stand he has taken for Mussarat.Aneek , Raja and Mussarat among boys are outstanding performers.Aneek sounds so much like Sonu
Nigam and appears to be the only contestant who can give a fight to Raja.Offcourse Raja is by far the best.Among girls I feel The Barbie doll is doing good, but on a good day Poonam can outperform all the girls.The ’Indian Shakira’ has her limitations and her voice does not go well with the establishedplayback singers.She can carve out a niche for herself.DON’T BE SURPRISED IF SHE RUNS AWAY WITH THE 50LACS SINGING CONTRACT.
Zee TV is doing a great service to the Indin Music.Kuddos to ZEE TV.

So, the things are getting clearer as the days progress, and Indian Shakira is out of the race now.On the Indian Idol front, it is turning out to be Anti-climax. Emon and Ankita deserved to be there in top3.Prashant is not as talented as Amit Paul, but may win because of the "votes".But to me, Amit deserves the title.
If I take a bit of liberty and go on expressing my views, i must say that the talent of INDIAN IDOL does not stand anywhere near the RA RE GA MA PA. Aneek, Raja, Poonam, Sumedha are star performers as well as great singers. Amanat is hanging on a bit of luck, otherwise Mussarat is far better a singer than Amanat.
But I would say that even Amit Paul or Prashant would not have made it to top 5 in SA RE GA MA PA.
I think SA RE GA MA PA is the best talent hunt show.May it long live.
