This is my first review on mouthshut! I purchased Splendor+ recently, 3 months back.I was looking for a bike which is decent for the city ride..I was advised by many of friends... went through the reviews posted on the net....n decided splendor is my cup of tea!!! Seriously, I am not a look-o-holic.
So I don’t care a hoot about the looks.My foremost priority has always remained the economy. Since the bike is really light weight....driving is good...you can easily find your own ways in a bustling city traffic..I have even driven on footpaths! It will never let you stuck in Traffic!
After the 1st servicing I calculated the mileage and surprisingly found it to be as low as 46kmpl. 2nd time when I checked the mileage, it got improved by a bit and gave me around 55kmpl.I always drive it to a steady 45-50 kph..but the mileage doesn’t seem to improve.
Many people around say that the Splendor can’t give less than 60 in any conditions.After completing 3 months, my mileage doesn’t cross that 55kph benchmark ! I have been checking the efficiency Reserve to reserve method.Can anybody help me I regard with this?? Is there any mistake in my method of testing the efficiency?? Is the tankful method is more than the one which I prefer???
