HERO is a Bad choice for Bikes

I had a very bad experience with service for my Splendor Pro. Service people told me to change chain-sprocket set at 10000 KMS, On being questioned about average life  he said it requires change because parts supplied currently  are not good so chain-sprocket requires a change after 7000 kms only.

Service supervisor told me that the old Hero Honda bikes are gone now and the parts dont last long enough.

Regret buying a Hero bike, as I exchanged for a very loving TVS Victor GL which I used for 7 years.

Now tell me why should someone buy a bike whose important part like chain-sprocket set wont last 7000 kms?

Earlier I thought bikes last just till the duration of their free service. But now it looks like a stupidity to buy a Hero bike.

How will the country go "brum - brum" (as in advt) with such bad parts?

Jacob.
