Hero splendor pro is a reliable commuter bike. Less maintaince bike. Only annual serviecing or at 3000 kms, serviecing is enough. Mileage is main attraction of this bike. 65-70 kmpl at 40-50 km/h in top gears.Very comfortable seat.Only drawback is light weightness.Enough torque in this segment and in this price range. I like this bike.Always check bike mileage by reserve to reserve method.Take 1litre petrol always in bottle to check mileage from fuel pumps.
Real mileage will come after 10000 km or after 4th servicing. So all pls don’t hurry and worry and wait for your mileage till 8000 kms.Don’t use 20w40 grade engine oil bcoz it is not recommended by Hero Motocorp.Recommendation is 10w30 grade so use Gulf 4T synth semi synthetic 10w30 grade engine oil.Better than Hero stock engine oil.Keep tyre pressure 28 front-35 rear.Don’t alter default carburetor air-fuel ratio.
