Hero Honda Spelendour ( well, I can’t help using the spelling I am used to) is really a nice bike. It has got good features and being reasonably priced, is affordable to most people. It has fot a good mileage and looks good.
It is not a great bike, in the sense that it is not a luxury ’’vehicle’’. Unlike more expensive models like Karisma , it does not have features like push button start, that even spares the rider the kick.
Splendour is a bike for the class of people who need to use them on a daily basis for work, and not for style or luxury, and that is why it is so popular.
It is comfortable to ride, and is ideal for city riding. But since it is not a very heavy and sturdy bike, it is not suitable for steep roads. So people from the hills should think twice before buying it.
