Hi, purchased Super Splendour (SS) a month back, have covered 700Km and just had 1st free service, I will not explain all technical aspects as I see others have covered in detail. I rate this bike very took, initially I was getting 60Km/Lit now after service it has increased to 70km/l. I had almost ended up buying Victor 125cc GTX, . later did some analysis and ended up buying SS. I found that SS is slightly longer and the petrol tanks dimensions are less compared to GTX ( advantages - my wife/mother can comfortably sit behind and the seat is horizontal to the ground were as GTX has slightly elevated back seat portion, also the petrol tank height is less give added for my daughter ( 2 years now) to sit in front for couple of more years till she will block my vision, this is not the case in GTX.) Rest engine sound is smooth, less vibration, show room technical expert explained that Hero Honda has provided ball bearing point at some points in the engine to reduce friction ( I am not sure about this :-) ). On the -ve side, I had problems with my gear shift, especially when shifting from 4th to 3rd gear I used to encounter a neutral position and then gear used to mesh to 3rd with noise, this problem was rectified by dealer in the 1st week of my purchase. Also found that its pick-up is less compared to Splendour even with a 125cc (mechanic told should get better after 2500KM, fingers crossed ;-)........) has very good head light, u need to adjust the focus as per ur needs. hope my exp helps you if ur looking out for a new bike.
