I recently got to test ride the new super splendor at a dealer in Thiruvananthapuram. The feeling I got from the bike was pretty good. And was really satisfied with the bike.
Since I went through a lot of technical specs, I have to mention a few along with the ride experience.
Engine: The engine is a 4 stroke, single cylinder OHC. It produces 9 bhp at 7000 rpm from a displacement of 124.7 cc. With a descent torque of 10.35 Nm @ 4000 rpm. The bike has a good feel to it. It is very responsive, but not what you would get from a pulsar or a unicorn. It has a maximum speed of 90 kmph. And it comes with disc brakes as an option
Mileage: the bike gives about 75 kmpl at mixed conditions. I haven?t tested that myself since I have only taken it on a test drive.
Fuel tank: Fuel tank is 12 litre and with the average mileage of 75 kmpl that it gives, the range of the bike on a full tank would come to more than 850 kms. Very impressive.
Styling: the styling of the bike cant be expressed as hot, or sporty?. The right word?. Executive. it is perfect for people to show off, yet not be considered as childish.
