Hi people ..This review is about the new SPLENDOUR SUPER 125CC ...This is a informative review .i will do a complete review when I get my hands on this one .....
Let’s start with Some technical specification’s....
Displacment :: 124.7 CC [Completly new HH engine developed by them localy.].
GEAR BOX :: 4 - Speed constant mesh , almost same as that on the splendor. but twiked a little bit to handle the extra power and torque
MAX SPEED :: 90 kmph [ claimed by the company] , If that is true . Discover claimed [ tested] figure is 105 Kmph..so it has lesser high speed ...HH guys are using the same chassis as on the splendour+ so no major difference there.. It weights 3kgs more than the splenduor according to one source...
PERFOMANCE....it produces 10.35Nm of torque @ 4500rpm..and produces a 9 bhp @ 7000 rpm [company figure]..
IGNITION:: It has all new Digital cdi ignition[ not the same one as ambition] ,
DESIGN::: The front fairing is completly new , The silencer has been RE--Desgined to make it more appiling for younger generation buyers[ yeps it doesn’t look attractive to me], new Vibrant stickering work is done , the head light is a MULTI REFLECTOR HEAD LIGHT, it is a completly new desgin, , .. it has a pass switch , and a small light glows[in the head light console] when the city light switch is activated.. The rear end light is re-degined and not same as the one in splendour + [but it looks almost same for me],
The blinkers[ signal light] are the same as passion plus blinkers
FUEL TANK :; it holds 12 litres , the fuel tank desgin is not completly new but almost the same as the one on splendour but the capacity has been increased to 12 litres from 10 litres..
Suspension::: Telescopic front suspension in the front & Hydrolic shock absorbers in the rear, Rectangular swing arm[ I think it is a disadvantage] becaz all it’s compitators are coming with tubcular swing arm..
Brakes::: Front 130 mm drum brakes[ disc brake optional] , rear 130 mm drum brakes
[ The optinal disc is 215mm disc]

IT COMES IN FOUR VARIENTS RANGING FROM Rs 42, 000---Rs 50, 000[ Ex -showroom vijayawada]
the four varients are;
Drum--kick, Drum--self, Disc--kick, disc--self
The bike looks good from the side but rear lookss akward ..[but I dont know pictures dont do the justice one has to check it out ]

COMPARING IT WITH COMPETITORS :
I know it is too early to do so...but the initial impressions don?t look good, its top speed as claimed by the company is 90 kmph which is far behind the competition [Discover 105kmph] [fazer 103kmph], It produces just 9bhp@ 7000rpm but discover has 12 bhp, fazer also has a better figures
Mileage::: it is too early to comment on it but I think with the help of Digital ignition it will have good mileage figures
PRICE :: The top end costs Rs 52, 450 [ on road vijayawada], the bottom end version costs about Rs 44, 950 [ex-showroom vijayawada]
with Rs 52, 000 u can get the top end discover with alloy wheels electric start e.t.c..
One has to wait and how it performs
HH is not planning for a simlar engine in passion as of yet
