When I started to look for a new scooter , I had only Honda in mind , as I have been driving the Honda Activa since 2002 without any issues.
The moment I saw the Hero Maestro, the Honda had totally disappeared from my mind , as I was very impressed with the looks of the Maestro, as I was mainly looking a good looking scooter. I have been driving the Maestro for the past 15 days and I have to admit I am very much happy with ride quality of the vehicle. Missing of the telescopic forks is a big disadvantage for this scooter , and the ride quality isnt impressive on slightly bad roads.
The build quality and the paint quality is very good and I did opt for the Black, as I found this colour very macho on this scooter. The quality of the Pillion step needs great improvement .
The engine is very much refined and its very pleasant to drive. The speedometer console looks awesome when compared with other scooters . I have been driving a constant 40 KM speed and I am getting a mileage around 47-50 , which is quiet impressive. I am yet to do my first service.
On the whole I am very happy with the new scooter and would highly recommend this. I have attached photos to show how Maestro looks against my 2003 Honda Activa
