Splendor iSmart is a 100cc commuter bike launched by Hero Motor Corp. It serves the purpose of a commuter bike, to an extend. Hero claims a mileage of 102 Kmpl but on real conditions a mileage of 65-70 is usually got. My friend bought a bike and I had ridden it for quite some time. Since it is a commuter, not much of power is there but it is just adequate. The design of the bike is average. The instrument cluster consists of analogue fuel and speedo meters, odo meter, trip meter and a side stand indicator. But the plus point is hero’s i3s technology or iSmart technology. When the engine is idle about 5 seconds in neutral it automatically shuts off. If the clutch is applied, the engine starts again. It can be effective in traffics. There is also a ismart on/off switch.
Overall the bike is just an upgraded splendor.
