I bought the Hero Xtreme ATFT model in the month of October, 2013. Overall its a very good bike and its giving me a mileage of around 47Km/Lt before first service. Yes I don’t go over 50Kmph and below 4000rpm. The gears were difficult to shift initially but it has got smooth over time. There is absolutely no engine vibrations which I see mentioned in other posts.
It is a heavy bike and weighs 150kgs, so one should be prepared to take the weight of the bike before buying it. But handling is a breeze even with the high weight. The suspensions are also very good and takes care of the bad city roads in Bangalore. The bike also has a kick start along with rear disk brakes. The rear disk brakes are very effective for city driving.
The headlights are not bad, but definitely not the best in the class.
