Pharma stores have sprung up ubiquitously all over Hyderabad. Every lane can now boast of a pharma store like Hetero, Apollo, MedPlus or Medipure. All of them have dished out a call center number and encourage you to get your medicines delivered home. They also try to allure customers with a 5-10% discount on medicines.
Here’s my experience with Filmnagar Hetero Pharmacy, opposite Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Filmnagar, Hyderabad.
I ordered 6 items on phone from Hetero. The delivery guy came a few hours later, with a bill for 6 items, quoting a cute litle discount and making the customer feel he is king. Except there were only 5 items being delivered. The 6th one was missing! So this is how they make up for call center setup, discounts on medicines and petrol for home deliveries.
If I had been in a hurry and I hadn’t checked, I would have paid for an item that I didn’t even buy! Well, you think, this happened once, honest mistake right? Well, no! This happened twice with me. The second time around when I asked the delivery guy where my missing item was, he didn’t even sound surprised. He didn’t ask me to re-check or anything. He just said he would get it for me in the next ten minutes since he forgot it, at the store.
Except I decided not to buy medicines there anymore.
And if you are reading this review, you would be wise to also stay away from Hetero Pharmacy at Filmnagar.
