Jagannath Institute of Technology and Management(JITM), an engineering college was established in 1997. JITM came into being out of the vision Shri ALluri Murthy Raju and was established under the JITM trust. The institute was set up with the aim to bring technical education to the Rural Areas and produce highly skilled personnel with exceptional calibre for various sector in the industry.
JITM got affiliated to the Biju Patnaik university of Technology(BPUT), rourkela from the academeic year 2003-2004. The institute is also recognised with **AICTE.
JITM is spread over 70 acres and is surrounded by hills that add to the scenic beauty and create a tranquil atmosphere - an ideal atmosphere for learning. JITM is situated in Parlakhemundi, a town of historic significance and famous for it’s culture in the Gajapti district of Orissa.
Since it’s inception JITM has drawn upon the experience of highly qualified faculties.The institute today is proud of the fact that it has today world’s best and strongest faculty. JITM’s faculty has played pivotal role in shaping the charachter of the Institute as a center of excellence in imparting technical education.
