You can watch it one time

A nice attempt to familiarise the Indian audience with the lesser known “Tourette syndrome” . It is an adaptation of the English movie “front of the class”.

This is the story of a person’s battle with the syndrome, hwr fight with hwr own family to get normal love and from the society to accept her as she is and let her fulfill her dream of becoming a teacher . However the movie fails at the story level drastically. There is hardly much of struggle shown that Rani Mukherjee faces in getting the job . Then the movie struggles to make an impact as a realistic situation in a school and it feels like an attempt to create magic moments at intervals.

if you are expecting a Taare zameen par from this one, then you will be disappointed. However if you are a big Rani Mukherjee Fan then you will enjoy her performance.

My favourite performances were that from the actor who played Rani’s brother and the school teacher who was in opposition to Rani.

Overall I will give this movie a 2.5 star and for me its just a one time watch
