Imtiaz Ali strted shooting this film with a rough script in hand with no preparation, he actully made this film on road like a beautiful journey.
A rich girl was kidnapped by a local gangster in Haryana Delhi border, at first she was scared as anyone will be, but soon she finds out that there is much more in life then what she was living in. Its a journey of self discovery on the rough roads of India.
It was brave decision on Alias part to sign for this film, giving importance to character over plot, such a high risk at this age of her carrier was extraordinary, very few have the dare to do so and she did fairly well and justified her character.
After the release of the film everyone was impressed by Alia, ya she was good but I would like to mention that there was one more awesome by Randeep Hudda with very few dialogues and only with his expressions he proved that he has great potential as an actor.
Good script but a little slow could have been more crisp and to the point, direction was exceptionally brilliant and this kind of films give cinematographer to do something different and camera work handled pretty well and some really good music by Rahman as always.
Over all a film to watch for Alia and to look for more from her in the future.
