I have been using Hike messenger from about 3 months and I have experienced that it is the only one messenger I liked the most.
It is always better than what’s app .

I have earned over 200rs just by inviting friends it also has Hike wallet through which you can make recharges, bill payment and many other stuffs other than chatting.
The chatting experience is also smooth you can make customisations in theme engine.
Sent lots of stickers. Hide confidential chats and many more.
There are also Hike games which you can play on the goo with your friends. And also read news etc.
So don’t you think it is always better than what’s app.
