"There is no Escaping Me !"

BANGKOK to BARODA, but the creativity worm is missing, that existed once copiously.after a somwhat slow start, HIMESH’s career went on an up-swing with KAHIN PYAAR NA HO JAAYE. then he got some catchy chart-busters to his credit from HUMRAAZ and KYA DIL NE KAHAA. and an year later, the enormous success of TERE NAAM took him among the enviable slots among the composers.

But in 2005, came AASHIQ BANAYA AAPNE, that brought the singer out of HIMESH RESHMIYYA. and nothing was same ever again. the songs from this film became such huge hits that HIMESH became untolerably cocky. and thats where equations started changing. Next year, he released his album AAP KA SUROOR , featuring himself in all the songs with same tunes almost, but that album outdid the success of AASHIQ BANAYA AAPNE. And there was no looking back for HIMESH now.

Ever since, HIMESH overlooked all the other singers whom he used till know for his compositions. Okay, changes are welcome, but if they cross the limits, the eccentricity of those things seem wierd then. Same happened with HIMESH. The once peculiar voice had become irritating now. Though the devotees had still kept the faith, HIMESH - the self-obsessed singer had killed HIMESH - the talented composer long ago.

To make the matters worse, his snobbish attitude on the TV show SA-RE-GA-MA-PA distracted one and all, and he soon became the most-shunned persona in the film industry.   But one thing is for sure. He can’t be ignored. Love him, Hate him, but you can’t ignore him. He is still raking in the moolahs, he is still very much in news for his never-changing attires and cap, and he is still topping the charts with NAMASTEY LONDON and SHAKA LAKA BOOM BOOM [ though the songs still sound the same as his off-late work.

Still, I am hoping against hope that someday, HIMESH dishes out the sheer melody as that of TERE NAAM, and regains his catchy quality all over again.cheersharsh
