I have to admit that this is one of the best movies in which Irfan Khan has performed.
Awesomeness in his acting still continues when he plays the character of a businessman in this movie.
The main plot of this movie is how parents nowadays are crazy to provide best education and facilities to their children.They can also go beyond the limits to do so.
Irfan Khan and his wife have a sweet
daughter, her mother is overprotective.She worries for her everytime and thinks that her daughter is vulnerable to anything that comes on her way.
They want their child to study in best school and try every possible way to get her admission.
They are so much biased by the modern lifestyle and education that they think that their child’s life would be ruined if she dosen’t gets admission in the top schools.
The story takes a dramatic turn when they have to live in a chawl in order to get admission by Gareeb Quota.They come to know that all the love, caring, sharing and sacrificies which rich people and schools talk about is actually practiced in these chawls where people are ready to die for each other without any selfish motives.
In the end they decide to send their child in Goverment school which they were trying to avoid from a long time.At last the story ends on a happy note when Irfan Khan apologizes for the mistakes he made to get her daughter’s admission and makes a harsh but true comment on the current education system and western lifestyle.
In the end I would say that its a movie worth a watch and one should go for it.
