I own of these, the Avigo that is. I actually miss the old bulbous bonnet with chrome ornament. The Avigo has a new sloping bonnet but what I made me buy the car is the fabulous dash board. Like in the old Mark 3/4 and the MINI. I am not fond of the behind-the-wheel set up that HM put in for the 1800ISZ. I get a fabulous feeling when I drive the gracious lovely thing and the impact on Bombay roads has been incredible. It is the only car that literally makes heads turn.
People wave out of their cars and say nice things to me about my choice and the car’s looks. Ironically, HM has never positioned this car that way while all the other N car makers try to do this for their cars. Build quality of the car is average though. And I wish HM would fix the leaky head lamp assembly (the head lamp reflectors turn yellow due to moisture creeping in). Anyway, I wish Golden Amby many more years ahead.
